Sending Holiday Wishes to Friends in Samos

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO OUR FRIENDS IN SAMOS, GREECE! 

Students in Brooklyn created special holiday cards for children living at the refugee camp in Samos, Greece. They filled their cards with bright colorful drawings and messages of friendship.

They then thoughtfully selected a special book to send to a child at the camp. Students were so excited to choose a book not for themselves, but to give as a gift, and carefully considered each title of a wide variety of books ranging from fiction to non-fiction. 

After selecting a book for their new friend, students wrapped them along with their cards and tied the package with ribbon. They can't wait to mail them this week!
