Tissue Paper Painting

We have been working with so many inspirational volunteers here in Samos and are in awe every day and the incredible work that they do here on the island. I am extremely grateful  for my time working with two such smart, strong women at Paradise, and for everything that I learned from them about teaching and more. Thank you Majeda and Katie! These beautiful tissue paper paintings were made during one of Katie's amazing art activities. Students layered their pages with colorful pieces of tissue paper and then painted over them with water. They then used a marker to find fun shapes and critters in the empty spaces.
